After A Last Minute Clemency Denial From Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger, Stanley Tookie Williams Awaits Execution.
Williams, who has been in prison since the 1979 hold-up where he murdered four people is scheduled to die by lethal injection at San Quentin Prison Tuesday 13/12/2005 at 12:01am Pacific time.
It seems the auhorities are waiting for hell to break loose in California, after the execution.
Whilst I would usually have no issue with a death penalty, particularly where the recipient is a multiple murderer
- I do think that Stanley Tookie Williams being executed after spending some 25 years in prison dealing with a pending death sentence is perverse.
