The Most Unlikely Candidate For NZ Foreign Affairs Minister, Winston Peters Gets Praise From Helen Clark.
I have this mental image of Helen Clark patting Winston Peters on the head, as he slobbers at her feet like the family dog. - Good boy Winnie. Now roll over. One day I’ll make you play dead…

In what I would have thought was more of an insult, NZ Prime Minister Helen Clark has said that “he [Winston Peters] is putting in a pretty good effort”.
Has Winston Peters finally been tamed… and by Helen Clark? It certainly looks that way!
Surely there is more to come from this old dog - or has he been neutered?
Here a nice quotable from Winston Peters:
“There is a significant percentage of Asians in Auckland. That’s my view. If you don’t like it, vote for another party and let race relations go into chaos.” - Peters, in 2005.
I found the above quote here. Check out some more of Winnies Winners!
Winston Peters has since become the new Minister of New Zealand Foreign Affairs! - Nice one Win..

New Zealand And The Anti Nuclear Issue

Duh - can’t a politian have an opinion about his country??
Winston is the only politian who is prepared to be frank, honest and tells things the way they are!! It’s what this country needs - otherwise NZ ends up looking like something out of Alice in Wonderland or the laughing stock of foreign investors!!! Think about it…
Winston Peters is probably the first foreign minister for NZ of Maori decent!!! pretty shonky because it’s taken so long, particularly coming from a country who gave women the firt vote.
Winston is a legend. Half Scottish / half Maori = truly representative of our country. There will never be another real politician like Winston Peters. We need him - and don’t you doubt it!!

What scares me is you’re probably right.
What a harsh indictment on the caliber of NZ politicians, if you are.
Your real name is not Winston, is it?
