Director Lee Tamahori Arrested In Hollywood Prostitution Operation
New Zealand Filmmaker Lee Tamahori was arrested whilst in drag and [allegedly] trying to sell sex to an undercover Policeman on 8 January 2006 in Hollywood.
The incident that apparently happened on Santa Monica Boulevard was not a total surprise to some of Tamahori’s friends, according to a local newspaper write up titled ” The bizzarre double life of director Lee Tamahori”.
I wonder what his partner Sacha Turjak thinks of his arrest?
Strange really… Lee Tamahori obviously didn’t need the money, so I wonder what this is all about.
A local commentator facetiously explained the stunt:
Lee Tamahori was obviously researching for his new movie ” Once were trans-gender warriors” !

Lee Tamahori Sentenced To Probation
